Welcome to the news feed on my website. I just wanted to let anyone viewing this that I will try and post an update daily.
April 7, 2020
I have been away from this website for almost a year, and a lot has happened. I was promoted in my day job,and I was picked in the lottery for Anime Boston 2020.
Because of the epidemic, I am not able to work my day job. They have been closed since 2 weeks ago today, and we won’t open up until May 5th at the earliest.
I had been trying to get some new things done before the convention, originally planned for this coming weekend, when I was notified by the convention that they would be canceling the event for this year. I will be able to sell at next year’s event, so that’s good.
Then about a week after that, I was notified that the convention I was going to sell at in New Hampshire was also canceling it’s event. I am extremely disappointed with how this year is going for me with my art. I’ve been trying to apply for all the online/virtual artist allies I can find, but I don’t seem to be getting any sales from them.
My last hope this year is PopCult Anime Con 2020. I have not been chosen yet, but I have high hopes that I will end this year on a high point. I should know if I am attending around early May and I will let you all know in this news tab when I get any news.

I am so sorry for not updating more. I have been in the con crunch mode for a while with my Perler Bead items. I have more prints for the convention in less than 2 weeks, and I am extremely excited about it. I was also sent a map of the exhibit hall, and I am pleased with my placement. I have added the map below so you know where I’ll be at the convention. I hope to see you all there.

Alright, it’s go time! I just heard back from PopCult Anime Con last night. I was chosen by the jury to have a table in their Artist Alley. I am so excited! It’s time to get moving with preparing. More art and updates to come.

PopCult Anime Con is starting their jury selection process soon. The convention is later this year, and I am trying to get a table to sell my art there. I hope I get a spot. it would be really good for my art to be shown to a bigger audience.

Today I had to get my tax information together. I’m going to the tax preparer tomorrow. I feel like I have no clue what I’m doing, but I’ll be happy when it’s over.
I have a good feeling about this year. I’m looking into more small craft fairs and less expensive conventions.
